Bobby Harper hangs cookware pieces at Lodge Manufacturing.The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development has announced that Lodge Manufacturing in South Pittsburg, Tenn., has been named a winner of the Governor's Award for Trade Excellence.
A news release said the award honors companies which have achieved excellence in engaging in global trade.
Lodge is a manufacturer of cast iron cookware and was founded in 1896.
In the past year, the company through distribution networks in five continents recorded nearly $3 million in export sales, the release said.
