Broad Street opened after police investigate suspicious package

A portion of Broad Street downtown has been reopened after having been closed earlier in the afternoon as Chattanooga policemen reportedly checked a suspicious package.

Early reports had said that the bomb unit was on its way to the area on Broad between Fourth and Fifth streets.
