A death in the Dogtown community on Lookout Mountain in DeKalb County, Ala., is believed to have been part of a murder-suicide, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said.

Max Ruben Zeller, 22, is believed to have killed his aunt, Felicia Ann Lindsey, 54, at her home and hid her body in a crawl space, Harris said in a news release.

The sheriff's office got a missing persons report Monday night for Lindsey and Zeller, he said. They found Lindsey's Jeep in Canton, Ga., and were searching a mobile home nearby when Zeller ran into a bedroom and shot himself, Harrison said.

Officers found Lindsey's cellphone and a pistol on his body. They got a search warrant for her home and found evidence of a fight, then found her body under the home.

The Alabama Department of Forensic Science determined that she had died from blunt force trauma to the head.
