A 24-year-old man was shot to death in Chattanooga last night, according to a police department news release.
Police responded to a shooting at 4000 Chandler Avenue around 11:25 p.m. where they found Christopher Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, the release stated. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
It was reported to detectives that Jones was arguing with the suspect, 35-year-old Santory Johnson, just before he was shot, according to the release.
There are warrants for Johnson's arrest, but he has not been located. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
