MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Family members say a Middle Tennessee man has died after contracting the West Nile virus.
WTVF-TV cited family members in reporting that 82-year-old Marion Rogers died Sunday at Saint Thomas at Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, where he had been admitted about two weeks ago. Family members told the station that Rogers was an avid gardener.
He was the 14th person in Tennessee to be diagnosed with the virus and the second death from it.
