Prostitution ring owner arrested at Electric Cowboy nightclub in Chattanooga

The owner and operator of a multistate prostitution ring was arrested Friday evening at the Electric Cowboy nightclub after federal, state and local authorities reportedly traced a phone number back to her and her business, Dreamgirl Companions.

According to federal court documents, authorities picked up Tatiana Valencia Wallace's trail when a Chattanooga detective responded to an advertisement on backpage.com which solicited sex in exchange for money. The ad gave a phone number where a woman would reportedly "take care of arranging appointments."

Federal court documents state that upon further investigation, multiple backpage.com ads listed the phone number as the contact for "Dreamgirl Companions." There were listings for over 10 states.

A female suspect going by the name "Toni" reportedly purchased an airline ticket to travel from Chattanooga to Salt Lake City for prostitution purposes. She was intercepted at the Electric Cowboy and arrested.

During police interviews, the woman called Toni identified herself at Tatiana Valencia Wallace, the owner and operator of Dreamgirl Companions, and she said the phone number listed for the company was her own. She said her previous "agency" employer was arrested for human trafficking, so she went out on her own and started Dreamgirl Companions.

Wallace will have a bail hearing in federal court today.
