Franklin County Sheriff’s Department searching for burglary suspects

More than $8,000 in property is missing from a Franklin County, Tenn., residence, after the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says burglars hit a home at 3016 AEDC Road.

According to a FCSO news release, a 50-inch flat screen TV, a Remington rifle, two boxes of jewelry and some tools were stolen between Oct. 6 and Oct. 7. The alleged burglary occurred near Winchester, Tenn.

The release states an unknown person or persons forced entry into the home through the back door. A small building near the home was also burglarized, the release states.

Anyone with information is asked to call Inv. George Dyer of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 931-962-0123 or 931-308-9420. Crime Stoppers will also take tips at 931-962-4636.
