Larry Ables says won't seek another term as a judicial magistrate

Judicial Commissioner Larry Ables announced today he would not seek another term as a judicial magistrate.

The announcement came a day before Hamilton County Commissioners were to vote to appoint two magistrates. Ables had applied and interviewed to keep his job.

Ables said in a letter he was withdrawing to seek a Hamilton County Sessions Court Judge position in 2014.
