The Chattanooga Clarinet Choir continues its 15th anniversary season with a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Ackerman Auditorium, 5061 Industrial Drive, at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale. The one-hour program includes transcriptions of classical favorites, an original clarinet choir work and a big-band hit. Among the highlights are the Mendelssohn Concertpiece No. 2, played by the choir's artistic director and Nick Hartline and choir member Ajay Makwana; choir founder Jay Craven soloing on a toe-tapping Klezmer piece; and accompaniment by CSO principal percussionist Monte Coulter on several works.
