It's been almost three years since consumers could spell relief R-O-L-A-I-D-S, but that's about to change.

To celebrate the return of the heartburn remedy on store shelves, Rolaids has teamed up with a Chattanooga food truck, California Smothered Burrito, to give out free bowls of chili on Monday, Oct. 28. Each bowl comes with a roll of Rolaids.

Up to 250 bowls will be available from noon to 2 p.m., or while supplies last, at Center Park, 728 Market St. Look for the short red bus topped with a surfboard, palm trees and sombrero.

According to The Associated Press, Johnson & Johnson recalled the antacids in the U.S. in December 2010 because wood and metal particles were potentially introduced into the products during the manufacturing process at an outside supplier. Earlier in the year, a recall was put into effect after customers complained of a musty or moldy scent that could cause nausea or stomach pain.

French drug maker Sanofi announced plans to relaunch Rolaids after its Chattanooga-based Chattem consumer health business acquired the brand from J&J.
