The Walker County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man in connection with the Wednesday night killing of a Rossville resident.

Sheriff Steve Wilson says that 20-year-old Marcus Sutton is a "potential witness" in the shooting that occurred at 22 Fisher Road around 11:30 p.m. Sutton may have known the victim and may have been at the location of the crime Wednesday.

The sheriff's office has identified the victim as Anderson Watts, 23, of 705 North Long Hollow Road in Rossville.

Wilson said that Sutton was released from prison on Aug. 14, and that the Sheriff's Office has four active warrants against him for a September incident. In addition to his connection with the Wednesday shooting, the Sheriff's Office wants Sutton on charges of aggravated assault, reckless conduct, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime and probation violation.

Anyone with information about Sutton can call the Sheriff's Office at 706-638-1874.
