Chattanooga Fire Department investigators are searching for whoever set four cars and a van on fire Sunday night along Brainerd Road.
Within a 20-minute period around 9 p.m. Sunday, investigators believe, the person went from vehicle to vehicle opening the gas tanks and throwing something on fire into them.
But the method wasn’t very good, fire department spokesman Bruce Garner said.
Only one car was heavily damaged along the 5100 and 5600 blocks of Brainerd Road, Garner said, and no one was injured.
