LOXLEY, Ala. - Tracking dogs helped officers locate and capture an inmate who was reported missing from a prison work-release center in Baldwin County.

A prison spokesman says dogs from Fountain prison located 27-year-old Tommy Goleman in a swampy area near Loxley hours after his escape today.

Sheriff's deputies helped in the capture, and officers took Goleman to Holman prison near Atmore.

The Department of Corrections says the prisoner was discovered missing from the Loxley Community Based Facility in the pre-dawn hours today.

Goleman was found about two miles from the work-release center.

He is serving a three-year sentence for theft out of Mobile County. Goleman was sentenced on April 23.
