2 injured in Chattanooga party shooting

Chattanooga police released no new information Saturday on a midnight shooting that injured two teenagers.

Police said Saturday morning that the shooting happened during a birthday party at 4221 Quin Adams Drive. The shooter drove away in a vehicle. A 16-year-old girl was shot in the neck and upper back, and 18-year-old David Shropshire was shot in the hand.

Neither's injuries were believed to be life-threatening, and both were taken to a hospital by private vehicle, according to the police news release.
