Residents from Ball Play to Turtletown can see whose vegetables, photographs or crocheted creations are blue-ribbon worthy as the Polk County Fair continues at the Polk County Showbarn, Route 411 at Parksville Road, in Benton, Tenn.
Organizers say sheep and beef livestock shows will be held tonight, Sept. 12, with karaoke following.
Friday, Sept. 13, features performances by bluegrass band Just Us and Jill England.
Saturday offers the Fairest of the Fair contests. Wee Miss is at 3 p.m., Little Miss at 4 p.m., Preteens at 6 p.m., Junior Miss at 7 p.m. and the main competition at 8 p.m.
Carnival rides open nightly at 6.
