The Whitfield County Sheriff's Office has charged a 6-person group of juveniles in a "crime spree" spanning two months and involving burglaries, thefts and stealing vehicles, including a taxi.
One of the six, who recently turned 17, also was charged as an adult, a news release said.
Generally they would gather in groups of two and three and then go out to commit their crimes, officials said.
The release members in the group admitted to entering at least 100 vehicles at Walnut Square Mall, located in Dalton, Ga., and in neighborhoods throughout Whitfield.
In many cases the thefts were unnoticed by the victim and unreported, police said.
