The Lost River Cavemen at Honest Pint - Sept. 19

The Lost River Cavemen, a Bowling Green, Ky.-based band of Americana/roots rockers, will stop in Chattanooga today, Sept. 19, for a show at The Honest Pint, 35 Patten Parkway.

The summer tour is in support of the band's new self-titled album. Formed in 2005, The Lost River Cavemen consists of Michael McMillian (guitar/vocals), Geno Wilson (bass), Joshua Riddle (drums) and Steven Stewart (violin/fiddle).

Riddle says the new album "keeps some of the American roots feel" evident in earlier albums "Taste of Life" in 2008 and "And the Circus Goes On" in 2011, while expanding to include "a more European roots aspect on some songs."

The show starts at 9 p.m. Also on the bill is Mathien and Tab Spencer. Cover is $5.
