East Ridge police have reported that a black male today grabbed a bank bag from the owner of the Tobacco and Beverage Mart at 4340 Ringgold Road and escaped from the scene in a vehicle driven by an unknown second suspect.

Police said the vehicle was a dark blue or black Eddie Bauer Edition Ford Expedition or Explorer with tan trim.

The way the robbery was conducted today and the vehicle matched those in a robbery that took place Sept. 12 at the Epicurean Restaurant, located at 4301 Ringgold Road in East Ridge.
