Size: 1,500 to 1,800 square feet.

Contractor: Renwol Construction, LLC.

Price per house: $175,000 to $200,000.

Timeline: The entire subdivision should be built out by 2015.

Scope: This new Hixson subdivision is situated just a half-mile off Highway 153. A total of 33 new houses are planned. The single-family homes will include granite countertops and tiled showers. The houses would make great starter homes or homes for families or couples looking to downsize, said Donnette Moore, with Keller Williams. The neighbohood will be tucked behind the Oak Park Town Center just down the road from Hixson Elementary School. The new subdivision is about two miles north of Northgate Mall.
