A LaFayette, Ga., man was arrested Friday on a child molestation charge.

Michael Anthony Adams, 22, lives at the Pear-Pine Trailer Park, where about 30 mobile homes are pack into about 2 acres of land.

Residents live about 10 feet away from each other, and some teenagers in the area liked to stop by Adams' place, according to police. He has video games.

Earlier this month, LaFayette police Capt. Stacey Meeks said, Adams was with his roommate and a 12-year-old girl. The roommate did not know what was happening, Meeks said, but Adams brought the girl back to his room.

On Sept. 7, after a medical examination and a forensic interview, the girl told police that Adams raped her.

On Friday, he was arrested on an aggravated child molestation charge.
