As is the custom, the three front galleries at the Shanks Center for the Arts will be changed out for October.
Two- and three-dimensional original works may be submitted for possible exhibit between 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Sept. 29-30.
Two galleries will be open-themed.
One will have a challenge focus of "Ghosts and Ghouls," which befits the surprise Veronica Faye Wright found in this original photograph. She thought she'd captured an ordinary photo of an old house and overgrown yard until she noticed the ghostly image in the upper window (image has been cropped for effect).
The Shanks Center, 140 N. Main St. in Crossville, Tenn., is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m each Wednesday through Saturday (all times are CDT).
