The Chief, The Lieutenant, The Captain, Brian, Christa and Lambchop all will be back for a third season of "Small Town Security," the AMC show filmed in Ringgold, Ga., at JKK Security.

According to Joan "The Chief" Koplan, the sassy and sometimes shocking matriarch of the security company, AMC called her last week to confirm it was coming back for more episodes of the over-the-top show, where almost nothing is taboo when it comes to office chatter.

"They called a week ago, which was good because I was getting anxious and I had so many people asking me about it," Koplan said.

She said details such as when shooting will begin and how many episodes will be filmed have not been talked about, "but we will be getting a little more money," though she declined to say how much.

"We have some big plans for next year," Koplan said. "It's a good series, and I'm very happy."

The cast, which includes Koplan's equally talkative husband Irwin "The Captain" Koplan; Dennis "The Lieutenant" Starr, who it was revealed on the first episode had spent much of his life as Denise Croft; Taylor, Stephens and Joan's 14-year-old Chihuahua, Lambchop, all are returning.

Koplan said even she has been surprised by the number of fans who call or stop by the business to hang out and meet the reality TV stars.

"They come from all over, and they spend 30 minutes hanging out," she said.

She said many people mention they have discovered the show in reruns on Netflix.
