A Harrison man is in jail on domestic violence and other charges this morning after Hamilton County SWAT officers talked him out of his barricaded home, a news release states.

Leon Biddy, 39, was arrested after sheriff's deputies were called to 7018 Maple Leaf Lane, sheriff's spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said in the release. Deputies found a woman with injuries to her neck. She was taken to a hospital.

Biddy shut himself in the house and refused to cooperate so the SWAT team was called, Atkinson said. Officers began to talk to Biddy and he came out and allowed himself to be arrested.

Biddy is charged with especially aggravated domestic assault and felony reckless endangerment. He is in the Hamilton County Jail pending a court hearing.

No information was released on the woman's condition.
