Lookouts open season at home tonight

The Chattanooga Lookouts will open the 2014 season tonight, April 3, at AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley, and attending fans will be given a magnet schedule for the fridge so they can plan for the rest of the season.

The Lookouts, a AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will take on Southern League foe the Jackson Generals, with the first pitch at 7:15 p.m.

The Lookouts will start the season with several returning players, including pitchers Pedro Baez and Jarret Martin, both added to the lineup at the end of last year. They also will have Erisbel Arruebarrena, a Cuban star the Dodgers are high on.

Joining them will be Scott Schebler, the 2013 Branch Rickey Award winner as the Dodgers minor-league player of the year with California Class A team Rancho Cucamonga.

General-admission tickets are $3 for seniors and children 7-12, $5 for adults. Box seats are $6 and $9.
