I24 tileThe on-ramps to Interstate 24 east from South Terrace Road and the off ramp to Moore Road from I-24 east will be closed this weekend for concrete repairs.
This weekend and April 11-14, the ramps will close at 9 p.m. Friday and remain closed through 6 a.m. Monday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol will assist with traffic control and detours will be posted. according to a news release from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Traffic information also will be displayed on TDOT's electronic signs and message boards.
This concrete repair work is being done as part of a statewide on-call concrete repair contract, TDOT spokeswoman Jennifer Flynn said in the statement
This work depends on the weather. Should weather or unforeseen circumstances postpone the work, it will be rescheduled to take place as soon as possible.
