The Chattanooga Transportation Department has announced the 1800 block of Hickory Valley Road will be narrowed to one lane on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow work to be carried out on a sewer rehabilitation project.
Flagmen will be onsite throughout the day to guide traffic through the work zone.
Additionally, the traffic signal at the intersection of Wilcox Boulevard and Riverside Drive won't be working Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon because of routine maintenance. The transportation department said drivers are urged to approach the intersection with caution and use it as a four-way stop.
