SUV driver killed in Sale Creek accident

photo Last night's storms may have been a factor in a fatal, single vehicle crash in Sale Creek.

A 54-year-old man was killed last night after his SUV struck a tree in Sale Creek.

The accident happened around 10:20 p.m. at 15100 Dayton Pike.

The vehicle, a 2000 Nissan XTerra was traveling northbound when for unknown reasons, it crossed over into the southbound lane and hit a tree, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

The driver, Bobby C. Lemley, died from his injuries, the release stated.

An investigation is ongoing.
