Police Briefs: Lookout Valley triple slaying suspect image released

Slaying suspect image released

A composite image has been released of a suspect in last week's Lookout Valley triple slaying.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office released the artist's drawing in hopes of triggering people's memories. Three people were shot to death and one was wounded in an attack art a motor home off Cummings Highway. Derek Morse, 19, has been arrested, but witnesses and the survivor said there was at least one, maybe two more gunmen.

"The public is asked to remember this composite is a compilation of facial features, not a photograph," the sheriff's office news release said. "If any of the features in the composite reminds you of someone, please contact the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Keep in mind this suspect may have recently changed his appearance."

The suspect is a white male, 6 feet tall or more and weighing 220 to 230 pounds. He has black hair and a full beard. Anyone recognizing the person depicted in the sketch or anyone with additional information about this case is asked to call 423-209-8940 or email/Tips@hcsheriff.gov.
