UTC women's golf team wins fifth consecutive Southern Conference championship

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's golf team won its fifth consecutive Southern Conference championship this afternoon.

The Mocs shot 51 over through three rounds at Moss Creek Golf Course in Hilton Head, S.C. to beat Furman by five shots.

Sophomore Emily McLennan earned medalist honors by shooting a 6-over 222. She won by four shots. Senior Jordan Britt, who prepped at Signal Mountain, placed third at 13 over.
