Is the criticism of the tea party intended to distract from the recent Post survey resulting in a 41% approval rating for president Obama. Who thinks he gives a rip what it is, he is not running again.

There is no national tea party and there is no chairman of the NTP like the DNC or RPC has that communicates and coordinates national activities following the party platform. Perhaps there should be. Currently some in congress get cozy with their local tea party group to gain support while others avoid them to make sure they are not viewed as being influenced by the tea group in order to not lose votes.

"a cancer on the face of Democracy" Yeah, sure they are. Wanting accountability from the government that belongs to us is really an unreasonable thing. I can see why the Democrat Party and the GOP both fear them equally. The Democrat Party and the GOP are melding into one ugly mass of greed and control. The reality is the two headed monster that is the two major parties are a cancer on this Constitutional Republic.

The Tea Party is not a party, it's just a demand that our Constitution be respected, our freedoms maintained and that the Government be accountable to the people. I can see why both major parties hate that given they're both about control over our lives, chipping away at our freedoms, lying, power, and enriching themselves.

They think we're stupid and will buy anything they say. Things like, illegal aliens come here out of "love", and it's not a crime. "We have to pass it so we can see what's in it". If you think we don't have a problem then you're wacked.

Here’s something for the Tea Party to blow their kazoo’s about. But will they? Nah. If it’s not Benghazi or Obama Care it’s tooooo complicated.

The Senate stripped a provision from an intelligence bill that would have required the President to make public each year (whenever he feels like it actually) the number of people blowed up in targeted killing operations (drone attacks) in countries where the United States uses lethal force...and where the victims can’t fight back.

The NSA and National security officials in the Obama administration objected strongly to having to pretty much say anything about the scope of their dirty work -- and the Senate caved. What was that President Obama was going to call his administration? Oh yea, “The most transparent administration in history.”

If this doesn’t outrage the nation (and Tea Partiers) we aren’t a nation of sheep so much as a mushroom farm.

Teabaggers got used by the GOP now they're ready to send them packing. Couldn't happen to a better bunch of crazies. LOl Reposted from an earlier post in Apr.

Establishment GOPers Dancing On Graves Of Flailing Tea Party Campaigns

"Amid recent allegations of tea partiers caught rubbing elbows with white supremacists and cock fighters, mainstream Republicans are having a hard time containing their exuberance over the struggling tea party challenger campaigns.

After TPM reported on Thursday that state Sen. Chris McDaniel (R-MS) backed out of headlining a gun rights rally thanks to attention on a vendor with questionable views on racial segregation, CNN Crossfire co-host S.E. Cupp tweeted McDaniel was an "ass" for agreeing to attend in the first place.

Sorry, you get no credit for dropping out of white nationalist event you agreed to keynote. Ass.

— S.E. Cupp (@secupp) April 3, 2014*

*"When you lie down with dogs, you get fleas," Republican strategist John Feehery told TPM in an email."This is the problem with the tea party and their candidates. They lack judgement and that lack of judgement makes them poor general election candidates."

The National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC), which has done some of the most heated battling with the outside groups that support McDaniel, quickly took to twitter to attack McDaniel over the episode.

Candidates who associate with white nationalists & segregationists events give away #GOP seats to Democrats. #MSsen

— Brad Dayspring (@BDayspring) April 3, 2014

Mississippi Republican Party chair Joe Nosef urged McDaniel to clarify whether he supports groups that promote the confederacy and segregation.

Brian Walsh, a former NRSC communications director and vocal critic of the Senate Conservatives Fund, said that McDaniel's decision to pull out of the event when he did didn't "smell right."

"It just doesn't necessarily smell right that he disavowed it after it became public," Walsh told TPM. "These are the sorts of issues that Democrats would have a field day in the general election. And it's the type of thing that cost us winnable seats in the last couple of cycles."

McDaniel wasn't the only tea party candidate who goofed recently. Over the weekend Matt Bevin, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R-KY) tea party primary challenger, ended up speaking at a rally for supporters of legal cockfighting. Bevin said he didn't know the rally was about cockfighting but both McConnell campaign staffers and other prominent Republicans are skeptical.

"I don't know how you accidentally stumble into a cockfighting rally," MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said Thursday morning.

Lerner rides off into the sunset with a windfall pension or to another appointed position after telling congress so shove it she was answering their questions. Clearly your vision of what America ought to be is the only TRUE vision, so I don’t know why I or any other liberals even bother to express our vision of our Communistic/socialistic/Marxist, nanny-state, hammock swinging, low-flush toileted, seat-belt wearing, smokeless, gun-controlled, incandescent light bulb-banned, freedom restricting America .

Note to all liberals: the philosophical/ideological struggle is over. Cease and desist immediately with your wrongheaded protestations. The real America, the totally free America of the future has been settled upon and it exists within the brilliant and ideologically unfettered mind of this profound thinker. Fairmon: the flagship of reason, wisdom, individual freedom, truth, justice, and the American way. Woo-hoo!

I'm like a gossamer cloud compared to likes of you.

The whole 'kit n kaboodle' is about the video? Really?? You really don't know what the Benghazi brouhaha is about.

Your silence regarding my question leads me to believe you're perfectly fine with the crimes of the Bush administration. Those WERE CRIMES.

Great avatar you have today by the way. And fitting too; Huge mouth - small brain.

It seems the Religious Right, now known as the Tea Party, can't keep it in their godly christian pants.

Bob Coy, of Calvary Chapel, the Fort Lauderdale megachurch he founded nearly 30 years ago, resign after admitting many affairs and ongoing pornography use.

http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2014-04-29/news/fl-bob-coy-adultery-20140429_1_former-pastor-calvary-chapel-adultery

Here's the best part. IT"S THE FAULT OF GOOD-LOOKING CHRISTIAN WOMEN!

Another stalwart of the tighty-whitey-righties, Former Highland Park Baptist Church pastor, Jeff Eddie, is being held on $1,030,000 bond on 31 counts of sodomy, sexual abuse and possession of child pornography. One of his victims was a boy of eleven.

Apparently, he didn't get the word from Mr. Conservative that only girls that young were to be plucked.

Might want to watch those fundamentalist "Youth Pastors" who seem to eager to use their position of authority to "lie down in green pastures".

Welcome to the Tea Party, Religious Right, Moral Majority clown show.

Let’s not overlook Mickey - the serious questions that Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va. Ohio, who is calling for a select committee to be established to conduct another round of snipe hunts demands answers for.

They include:

Are the CIA whistle-blowers bodies are now lying at the bottom of the Potomac? Was David Petraeus being blackmailed by the Chinese again? To what effect are Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright involved? Did Susan Rice fly to Tripoli, have a steamy liaison with a clone of Ayman al-Zawahiri created in a secret DNC Chicago laboratory, then go to Benghazi where she personally killed Ambassador Chris Stevens with a hat pin? Where are my shoes?? He later angrily stated that unless someone gave him back his shoes, they’ll spin this into ‘The Never Ending Story’!

Umm nope Jack, I’m not going to be baited into your fish pond of witlessness, and I won’t do your research for you. If you purely want confirmation of the phony baloney snipe hunt – call Hannity.

About the only merit conservatives have in their Benghazi hysteria is the notion that security was inadequate at our diplomatic mission in that city. (This is the true crux of the issue) If Republicans cared so much about embassy security why did they cut funding for it by millions?

Will you give Dick and his boy George a pass? Answer that weasel!

The reality is you don’t really care when Bush lied about WMDs, or express outrage over 9/11, the Iraq War, or the 13 embassy attacks with 50+ dead under Bush. Your faux outrage over Benghazi is bogus.

Hypocrisy, it glows from you like a neon sign.

They still can't believe Obama won re-election. Instead of blaming the crappy candidate they nominated (Romney), they blame Benghazi. Just like they blamed a phony birth certificate in 2008. If four Americans weren't dead, the GOP's reaction to this would almost be comical.

Jack...you REALLY need to pay attention to the polls. She has been riding high for more than a year.

Not one Republican has poll numbers that can prevent her from winning.

There are several Republicans who poll high with potential Republican voters, but not one of them polls anywhere near Hillary.

What YOU think of the woman is meaningless.

American voters like her and will vote for her.

^ naw, when people get in the booth, they will remember her lying to benghazi victim's loved ones. Looking them dead in the eye.

Gassy, I seen no connection to Romney and what happened in Benghazi. Not even a nice try, pal.

Hey Rat, I've seen this game before. I'm not on the stand. You've never answered any question I've presented to you, so stifle yourself. No group presents more hypocrisy than the Left. No group.

May 1, 2014 at 6:12 p.m.

Guass, apparently BO isn't aware he won re-election, or has forgotten, he's blaming racism for his not so high poll numbers. I guess his bloated ego isn't satisfied with being elected POTUS twice, huh?

Mickey, I thought Bush was dumb according to you libs? If he lied then a whole hell of a lot of other people lied as well since the went along with him. Congress, the U.N. etc.

Hellary has done nothing any worth, but that won't stop you a-hole libs and all the celebrity worshiping morons in this country from voting for her. She probably will win if she runs, but she's not worth the stain Bubba left on Monica's blue dress.

She and Bo are very much responsible for Benghazi, but it won't matter. The worst POTUS and SOS duo in the history of America. Actually John, the anti-semite, Kerry may be worse. Hellary blurting out that Putin is comparable to Hitler is just a taste of what's going to come.

May 1, 2014 at 6:18 p.m.

If the Republicans nominate another loser like the last two, they'll lose. If it's a Tea Party religious nut whether Palin, Ryan, Pawlenty, Bachmann, Brownback, Santorum, Huckabee, Cruz, DeMint, Perry, or other bedroom-creeper bible-banger, they'll lose.

Bush, Christie, Rice, Corker, Haslam, not trusted because of past affiliations or suspect business practices.

Rand Paul had a chance, but blew it by attaching himself to the religious right. He's alienated too many independents and fiscal conservatives but social liberals. He's not got the appeal of his Dad.

John Huntsman or Bobby Jindal may get the nomination but only Huntsman has a chance nationally. Too many GOPers won't vote for Jindal because of prejudice.

Even digging up Reagan for a third term wouldn't even work.

This is not looking good for the Tea Party or the regular Republicans who have tried to distance themselves from the taint of tea.

This next election is the democrats to lose regardless of Benghazi.

Who said there was? A refresher in reading comprehension would serve you well. I said instead of the choice of candidate, the GOP blames a Benghazi cover-up. Romney had nothing to do with it other than trying to use the "scandal" as a way to convince voters.

No. I slander and insult you time after time because you are an idiot who deserves it.

"This is your character, this is who you are."

Since you're so ANALytical this fine day, how about turning some of that criticism on yourself.

Take a gander in the mirror and ask yourself if you like the person YOU are, rather than to worry about what everyone else is doing.

After all, you are far from perfect, wouldn't you agree?

How will we be better off with Hellary in office?

No real American Man, hell, a real man, would vote for that banshee/harpy/lamp thrower/witch/statist/commie.

Who wants to stare at her miserable face scrunch up when she has to answer a touch question. I

I can't explain all of those in that camp but most have the same co-dependent low self esteem mental issues of many that stay in a bad marriage out of fear of having to make it on their own. It is an attraction like hero worship or mob mentality.

I think it would be better said that they don't think the federal government should interfere with personal choices. They accept that those issues are best addressed by the states and people in each state as long as the constitution is not violated.

Obama defeated Hillary once and may do it again. My vote is most likely going to a third party candidate or Hilary. No one can say she got a single vote because she is attractive. Who can blame Bill for his philandering?

Republicans say Obama and the democrats are making political decisions aimed at the November 2014 and the 2016 elections. They are just as bad when they withhold the expos'e around Benghazi, the IRS and the ACA until they think they will have the most impact on the elections. Hillary still wins unless she defeats herself by overloading her chickadee arse with her alligator mouth.
