BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Chattanooga Lookouts almost survived six errors Monday night in their battle for second place in the Southern League's North Division, but they lost in the 10th inning, 6-5, on a bases-loaded walk.

After taking a two-run lead with a three-run ninth, the Lookouts gave up two in the bottom of the inning and then lost on a two-out pass in the 10th for Birmingham's Michael Earley.

Chattanooga went up the first inning when Corey Seager's two-out single to right field scored Scott Schebler and Daniel Mayora came home on the Barons' only error, but Seager committed a fielding error in the fourth that opened the door for a pair of Birmingham runs.

Trailing 3-2, the Lookouts took a brief lead in the ninth when Darnell Sweeney stroked a two-run double and scored on an Angel Sanchez double.

Game three of the five-game series is tonight at 8:05 EDT. Freddie Cabrera (0-0, 0.79 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Bryan Blough (2-4, 4.21) is scheduled to work for the Barons.
