Woman accused in fatal I-24 accident pleads not guilty

MURFREESBORO - The woman facing charges in a fatal hit-and-run wreck April 10 on the side of Interstate 24 in Smyrna entered a plea of not guilty in Rutherford County court Tuesday morning.

Tina L. Wilson, 33, of Murfreesboro appeared via video conference in Judge Kieth Siskin's court for an arraignment on multiple charges related to the hit-and-run death of Clifton Braunwalder, 13.

During the arraignment, Wilson entered a plea of not guilty to one felony count each of vehicular homicide by intoxication, vehicular homicide by recklessness, reckless assault and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
