Hamilton County Commissioners approve architects for new schools

Hamilton County commissioners this morning unanimously approved contracts with four different architects for design and construction projects involving four schools, including the new Ganns Middle Valley Elementary School, Nolan Elementary School, Sale Creek Middle/High School and Wolftever Elementary School. The total amount approved is nearly $3 million combined .

Commissioners also approved the appointment of Richard G. Youngblood to the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority Board of Trustees, and they dedicated more than $26 million to the Industrial Development Board to fund in part the expansion of the Volkswagen site at Enterprise South Industrial Park.
