Tracy weighing options in 4th District election after vote certifications

After all 16 counties in Tennessee's 4th Congressional District certified their votes in the Aug. 7 election - leaving incumbent Republican Rep. Scott DesJarlais with a 38-vote lead over challenger Jim Tracy - the Tracy camp is not giving up.

Stephanie Jarnagin, spokeswoman for Tracy's campaign, said Friday the challenger will "review some additional information he requested from the secretary of state's office over the weekend, and make a decision on Monday."

That decision would concern whether to challenge the entire election and ask for a recount.
