Good Deed: Return of lost cell phone reveals young man's good character

Recently, my husband left his cell phone on the driver's seat of a rental car. I called it several times hoping someone would answer, but the phone always went to voice mail. Finally, I left a message. Ten hours later a Good Samaritan called -- from my husband's number.

"Matt" had found the cell phone on the seat and realized it needed to be returned to the rightful owner. Luckily, he had not planned to travel out of town with the rental car. We immediately went to retrieve the cell phone. Here was a young man who did the right thing!

We appreciate him and we appreciate his parents. Most young people are basically good. This young man exercised good character through his honesty.

Good deeds should not go unnoticed!
