Marquis Dequan Tanner

A Whitfield County grand jury indicted three men today on charges of murder.

Marquis Dequan Tanner, 20; Tywon Jay Henderson, 17; and Endy Becerra, 16; are accused of murdering Abel Carmona, Jr. on July 18. The three defendants remain in Whitfield County jail without a bond.

They are scheduled to be arraigned on Nov. 17.

In addition to the murder charge, the grand jury indicted the three defendants on charges of aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and possession of a weapon in the commission of a crime.
