UPDATE: Both missing Walker County teens safely found

UPDATE: Family members and the CFSI Facebook page have confirmed to Channel 3 that Savannah Jackson and Michael Tanner VanPelt, the two missing Walker County teens, have been safely found in Mississippi.

The Walker County Sheriff's Office is asking for information on two 14-year-olds who are believed to traveling in a black, 1996 Chevrolet Blazer.

Michael Tanner Van Pelt and Savannah Elizabeth Jackson were last seen in LaFayette, Ga., on Tuesday between 9 and 10 a.m., according to a news release.

Both are white. Michael is 6 feet tall and 160 pounds wiht brown hair and eyes.

Savahhan is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 110 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

The four-door blazer bears a Georgia tag, BNR 2023, and has "U.S. Mail" sticker son the back window.
