University of Tennessee at Chattanooga soccer coach J.D. Kyzer pulled in four in-state recruits on signing day, including multiple Tennessee State ODP players Abby Linder from Germantown, McKenzie Gregg from Newport and Brandy Herrera from Nashville. The other is acclaimed goalkeeper Hannah Dunn from Cookeville. Linder is a center midfielder who went to ODP regional camp in 2011-12, and she was a four-year Shelby County "Best of Preps" selection for Germantown High. She had 35 goals and 32 assists in high school and scored 198 goals in 527 games for the Collierville Soccer Club. Gregg had a school-record 34 goals in 2010 and 32 in 2011 for Cocke County High and made the Super 20 Semi-Pro team in 2011-13 with the Knoxville Soccer Academy, which she led to the national championships with team-high goals and assists last year. Herrera was a four-year varsity starter for Pope John Paul II High School and a standout for several club teams as well.
