Significant snow possible next week in the Tennessee Valley

CHATTANOOGA - Significant snowfall is possible across the Tennessee Valley as a low pressure system in the Gulf Coast states takes shape and moves toward our region. Based on the latest computer models here's what may happen based on a blend of these models:

Timing: Late Monday night through Tuesday

Amounts: 3"-4" in Chattanooga metro area, including far northeast Alabama and far northwest Georgia (3"-5" in some high elevations); 2"-3" north of the metro area; 4"-6" in the Blue Ridge of Georgia and North Carolina.
