3 Georgia men accused of raping and shooting woman before setting her on fire

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Columbus police said three men accused of raping and shooting a woman before setting her on fire have been arrested, and one is expected to appear in court today.

Police said 23-year-old Robert Carl Johnson, 26-year-old Joey Betrail Garron and 23-year-old Ketorie Glover are accused of forcing a woman they met at a party into her car at gunpoint and raping her.

Authorities said the woman was then shot before she and her car were set on fire and abandoned. Police responding to calls about someone screaming for help found her Sunday morning.

The victim was hospitalized and underwent extensive treatment.

Lt. John McMicheal told the Ledger-Enquirer of Columbus that the three are charged with several offenses including rape, kidnapping and arson.

It's unclear if the suspects have attorneys.
