Georgia Author of the Year at Dalton Book Festival - Feb. 26

Kimberly Brock, the 2013 Georgia Author of the Year, will present a free reading and lecture on her debut novel, "The River Witch," on Wednesday, Feb. 26, for the annual Book Festival at Dalton State College, 650 College Drive, Dalton, Ga. The program will start at 6:30 p.m. in Room 105 of the James E. Brown Center on campus. "The River Witch" is the story of a young woman working to mend her broken life by traveling to the Georgia Sea Islands, where she learns about herself and the very human desire to belong and be loved. Checkout copies are available at the Derrell C. Roberts Library on campus (open to all). Copies also will be available for purchase and signing after the lecture. Seating is first-come, first-served.
