In times of trouble, warm meal comforts

Last fall, I underwent numerous tests before being diagnosed with cancer, a devastating blow to my son and daughter. They lost their father two years before. Both children, being in the health field, knew what lay ahead for me. I began chemo treatments at Vanderbilt Hospital in October. My son's staff knew of my situation, and through no request from me, these girls have prepared and delivered my dinner every night since my first chemo treatment. Some are single, working mothers, and I feel so unworthy when I think of their sacrifice. I will be in chemo for two more months. I am truly blessed by the care and consideration of these girls.
