Film Festival entry deadline nears

Wednesday, March 5, must be circled in red for organizers of the Chattanooga Film Festival. That date marks the deadline for filmmakers to submit works to the festival, as well as the start day for certain ticket sales.

The festival, scheduled April 3-6, will offer four days of independent films and five education panels, as well as an opening gala and after-parties.

Major partners are film club Mise En Scenesters, the Lyndhurst Foundation, the Hunter Museum of American Art and WayPaver.

Sales are already underway for the three festival badges, priced at $210, $150 and $75. General-admission and MES after-hours ticket sales will start Wednesday.
