Chattanooga paralegal Claire Tuley was a contestant on "Jeopardy!" on Thursday night.

However, she had the unfortunate timing to be on the show when contestant Arthur Chu was plowing through fields of other players, winning his eighth straight match on Thursday.

Before Final Jeopardy, host Alex Trebek said Chu had a chance to beat the single-episode record of $77,000. He didn't, ending up with $58,200. He has collected more than $236,000 so far during his winning streak.

Tuley finished second with $8,000 and took home $2,000.
