Wide Open Floor is a performing-arts showcase for dancers, poets and musicians. It takes place from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday, Jan. 3, at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave. The website says to “Expect surprises. Expect to be challenged. Expect to see acts that you love, as well as those that may uncomfortably stretch your perspective.
