Hamilton County Finance Administrator Louis Wright retiring

Hamilton County Finance Administrator Louis Wright is bowing out after a 38-year career.

County Mayor Jim Coppinger said today Wright informed his staff that he would be leaving the county in the coming weeks.

Coppinger said Wright would be sorely missed, but he more than deserves a good retirement.

"He served 38 years here, and he's been instrumental in securing the finances in Hamilton County for a number of decades," Coppinger said.

Coppinger credited Wright with helping the county attain and keep a AAA bond rating from all three major rating agencies.
