Arkansas ranger found fatally shot at home

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Authorities say the chief ranger for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism was found fatally shot at a home in western Pulaski County.

Pulaski County Sheriff's Office Lt. Chris Ameling says deputies found Chief Ranger Jerry Digman fatally shot shortly before noon Sunday at a home on Arkansas 300. Ameling tells Little Rock television station KATV that no suspects are in custody and authorities are seeking a warrant to continue their investigation.

Authorities say Digman worked in the law enforcement division of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism.
