Chattanooga Police responded to a call Wednesday afternoon about a shooting at 2309 Benton Ave.
Officers found the victim, Edward Jackson, suffering from a gunshot wound to his right hip. Jackson told detectives that he was not able to see the suspected shooter.
Jackson was transported to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and more information will be released when available.
