Should Hamilton County continue to pay for a lobbyist in Nashville?

Wednesday, January 8, 2014

Hamilton County Commissioners will consider whether or not to keep a contract with Will Denami, the county's lobbyist in Nashville.

The commission as a whole supported the proposal today at a regularly scheduled agenda session. Commissioners will vote on the measure next week at its full meeting.

The county currently pays Denami $20,000 for his services in the state capital.

County Attorney Rheubin Taylor said the contract under consideration is identical to Denami's current arrangement.
