Two arrested in Red Bank High altercation

Two people, one a student and the other his 18-year-old brother, have been arrested for getting into an altercation with the school resource officer at Red Bank High School.

A news release said the student got into a verbal argument with another student at the school and then tried to get into a physical altercation.

An administrator tried to break up the disruption and then when the student tried to again begin an altercation with the other student, Deputy Tim Mann, the SRO, became involved.

The student began fighting with Mann as he was being placed into custody. It was then the student's brother also became involved by fighting with the deputy.

The student and his brother were arrested.

The student was charged with assault and disorderly conduct and taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center. His brother was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass and was taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
